Be Creative With Your Hip Training Bands | Speed Training

Doing the same old drills every single week can become very boring. Be creative with your training and come up with new drills. This drill can be a great change of pace with your hip bands. Hip bands are traditionally used for completing squats or simple weight training exercises. In this video you will see that you can complete speed training exercises as well.

Use Hip Bands For Speed

It’s time to expand your training regimen and move into advanced plyometrics. During this exercise we will set up three cones 5 yards apart for spacing. Next, you will begin 5 to 8 yards from the middle cone. Listen as your trainer tells you which cone to sprint to. After you reach the cone you will backpedal and repeat the process. Hip bands will give you more resistance during the drill. Load up the resistance and challenger speed. Keep things tight. If you begin to spread too far the Infinity Loop Bands will slide up your legs. This is a good indication that you’re not using them properly. As long as you stay with small sprint work you could challenge first step quickness and conditioning throughout the exercise. Review the video several times to understand proper form and technique so that you can better achieve your goals.
