Running speed isn’t all about just running sprints. Sprints can help you increase your speed if done properly, but they will only take you so far. Power training has been proven to build more explosiveness throughout your body. The power created through specific plyometric drills will help you generate more force off of the ground when sprinting. By providing more force off the ground, you will accelerate your body forward during every stride.
In the video you will see the plyometric Kbands Broad Jump. By utilizing Kbands during this specific exercise, you will recruit more muscles than without. This will help build muscle quicker and provide some additional stimulation for stability. As you land your body will have to absorb the shock. This is great for building a stronger athletic body. Do not overdo this exercise and complete the reps and sets within the video.
