If you find yourself working out alone, a timer can be your best friend for motivation. You can design your workouts around a stopwatch or Tabata timer to help push the pace and motivate you through your workout. I've utilized this technique for years to help not only get the workout started, but to push yourself during the workout. Working out alone often times can lead to stagnant repetitions and terrible working sets. Try this technique out for yourself.
