The W Drill Teaches Low Center Of Gravity and Acceleration

Published by Trevor Theismann on 7th Oct 2022

The W drill is a great way to teach low center of gravity. It can also be utilized to help with change of direction. Utilize 5 to 6 cones to create your W setup. The athlete will run around the cone in the front and around the cone in the back. Resistance bands can be added to increase the intensity level as the sets progress. Athletes should focus on staying low throughout each change of direction.
