I trained for athletics my entire youth and young adult life. I then transition to fitness training for adults. One thing that I wish that I would have known more about as a young athlete would've been sleep and nutrition. The problem is, kids can know as much about these topics as they want. There is tons of information out there that they can learn, but it is still up to the parents to cook the meals and order the food. If you want your athlete to perform at their best, then you must help feed the engine. Learn about nutrition and feed your kids by cooking the correct meals. Give them options that are easy and full of nutrition.
