The added resistance provided to the kids martial arts drill by Kbands will work the hips to help increase hip power and balance. Hip drive is an important aspect of the kids martial arts drill and will help athletes obtain maximum power during the Front Snap Kick. Because the Front Snap Kick is broken down into steps, utilizing the Kbands throughout the individual movements will also help athletes improve their balance and form. As athletes complete the movements with resistance they will have to focus on keeping their knee pointed at the target, as the Kbands try to pull the knee to the side.

The 3-Step Front Snap Kick is an excellent kids martial arts drill to help beginners perfect their technique. The kids martial arts drill helps to increase strength and drive from the hips, which is an important contributor to kick power in the Front Snap Kick.
