Increase Kicking Power Martial Arts

Martial arts training can be fun as a beginner. Learning how to snap kicks and be powerful with your lower half is challenging. This sequence of cakes is designed for beginners to not only work on their kicking form, but to experience different angle cakes with resistance.

Martial Arts Kick Sequences

1.The first is a front kick followed by a sidekick. Be sure that you get great knee separation and consistent range of motion throughout each kick.

2.Speed sidekicks or next. Lift your leg up as quick as you can and kick to the side. Your glutes are sure to feel the burn.

3.Find a wall and get down in a seated position. Activate your quads and glutes with a static hold. Next complete leg extensions out in front of you alternating from side to side. This is an intense burn that you will have to work through.

4.Drop down into a split squat position. Now accelerate up with your back leg and kick forward. Your hip flexor and quad will have to contract quickly to raise your rear leg forward.

5.Begin in the split squat position. Drive your weight forward and raise your leg out to the side. Snap a sidekick and finish back into the split squat position.

Enjoy the workout.
