Dropset Squats With Loop Bands - Increase Strength And Conditioning

Weight training is not always accessible. You may find yourself out on the field or on the court. In these situations we can utilize the Infinity Hip Bands. Spread your team out in groups. This station is dropset squats.

All you need to do to set up this specific exercise is lay out the Infinity Hip Bands in order from lightest to heaviest. Next, have athletes cycle through 15 repetitions from light to heavy. You can also do this drill in reverse. Utilize the heaviest resistance level first, and then move up to the lightest.

We recommend completing each of these formats. Neither one nor the other is better. Switch them up each training session to keep it fresh for the young athletes.

Why Use Drop Sets

Drop sets are a great way to bring your muscles to complete failure. By changing the stimulus with different amounts of weights you can enhance muscle activation during every repetition. This format will also give teams the ability to cycle through with lots of players.

It’s recommended that you use this strength and conditioning set towards the end of your workout. Plyometric style stations should be used before this one.
