How to Put on Kbands

In the video below, follow along as Trevor Theismann explains the contents of your Kbands kit and demonstrates how to attach the Kbands straps and elastic bands around the upper legs. Once users learn how to put on Kbands properly, they can start to gain the full fitness benefits of added resistance.

How to Put on Kbands: Step 1

First, open up your kit and review the contents. Your full set of Kbands equipment should include a small bag containing a fabric strap for each leg and four detachable bands of various colors. Each package of Kbands contains two resistance bands of different lengths the front band should be the long band, and the back band should be the short band.

How to Put on Kbands: Step 2

To attach the Kbands to the upper legs, begin by wrapping one strap around the right leg just above the knee. Make sure the label is positioned in the front and the metal rings are on the outside. Pull the inside end snug so the band holds tight to the skin and then press the velcro section in place. If the band is too long, don’t worry about tucking in the extra material at end of the strap—Just cut it off with a pair of scissors. This won’t interfere with the integrity of the strap, since Kbands are designed with a bit of extra length so they can accommodate every leg size.

  • Wrap the strap around the upper leg with the label in front and the rings on the outside
  • Pull the inside strap snug
  • Cut off excess material
  • Attach the resistance bands

How to Put on Kbands: Step 3

Once the straps are in place, attaching the resistance bands is simple. Just choose a color, green for example, and select the longer of the two green bands. Clip one end of this long band to the metal ring on your left leg and the other end to the metal ring on your right leg. The longer bands should be attached in the front. Then grab the shorter band and clip each end to the corresponding metal ring on the back of each leg strap. Once the bands are in place, you’ll feel the tension in your upper legs and core as you begin to move around.

  • Choose one set of colored bands (or one level of resistance)
  • Attach the longer of the two bands to the metal rings on the front of the legs
  • Attach the shorter band to the metal rings on the back of the legs
  • Begin feeling the increased resistance in every motion

Once the bands are in place, your intense training session can begin! For additional questions, reach out to the Kbands experts by sending a message or leaving a comment on the site. Thanks for visiting, and enjoy your workout!
